| Beginning his sixth season on the UNO coaching staff is three-time NCAA Division II All-American, Zach Stalder, who ended his Maverick career in 2002-03. Stalder compiled a 122-37 record, which ties him with Pat Kelley III for eighth on the career wins list since (1979 to 2003). Stalder was a North Central Conference champion in 2001. He received his bachelor’s degree in communications from UNO in 2006. A graduate of Omaha Burke High School, Stalder was a three-time Nebraska Class A state champion. He was coached by former UNO wrestler Mike Braun. Stalder won the Junior National Greco-Roman national title his senior season. Stalder is currently employed by the Bellevue Police Department. |
